On November 14, Maddy was in the school play "The Night Before Christmas". She was a "poem performer" and was on the stage during the entire play. It was a classic school play like you would see in the movies. There were lighting and microphone problems and reindeer noses falling off. At one point they were supposed to hang the stockings and they walked to the fireplace and realized that the stockings were already hung because they had forgotten to take them down after practice. It was very funny but cute! We weren't able to get a good picture inside the auditorium, so this is the best one I got. It shows Maddy wearing her cast T-shirt and talking to grandma and grandpa Bruce after the play. Grandma and grandpa Julien came also.
