Black Friday

On Thanksgiving, we went through all of the ads and made lists of the best deals.  The problem was we weren't really looking for anything specific.  Most of the things on our Christmas list we were able to get on Amazon.com for a better price, so it wasn't as fun as past years.

Bart decided to go to Walmart with me at midnight.  There wasn't anything we absolutely had to have, so we left around 11:30 and were actually surpised by how many cars were there.  We had to park really far away (by Papa Murphy's).  We went in and were amazed by the number of people in the store.  We split up and he went to the video game/DVD section and I went to the toy/game section.  At midnight the store went crazy!  You could barely move through the aisles and people were throwing DVD's and games around.  I found a few things that I was looking for and then I couldn't find Bart or get a hold of him on his cell phone, so I went and got in line.  He finally found me just before I got to the front of the line.  We bought our stuff and headed home around 12:30 a.m.

Then we went home and went to bed.  There were a couple of other stores I wanted to go to in the morning, but again, there was nothing big, so I decided I would just go whenever I woke up.  I woke up around 7 and headed to Target.  I was able to find almost everything on my list.  Then I went to Tai Pan Trading and got some great deals on decorations (mostly for my two clinics) and took advantage of the promotions like free mixing bowls and a gift card. Then I headed to the mall and bought a few things for Maddy and a ton of things at Bath and Body Works.  I got home around 10:00.  It was an eventful Black Friday!
