This morning I had the opportunity to go to a live taping of Good Things Utah with some of my friends in my ward. It was very exciting. Unfortunately, Nicea and Reagan were on vacation, but Angel Shannon filled in as a guest host. The hosts were very nice and interacted with the audience when they weren't taping. Marti Skold lives in Syracuse, so we told her we were from Syracuse and she kept commenting about us. It was kind of strange because the camera's would block the view so you kind of had to watch it on the little monitors, but it was fun to see the way they switch between camera angles and how the producer would move them around during the segments. The hosts table and chairs were on a moving platform that they had to push around
the studio. At the beginning, Marti showed us these cool purse hangers that keep your purse off of the ground when you are out at a restaurant or movie theater and also a thing to put your keys on so you don't lose them in your purse and then they gave a little gift bag of them to the whole audience! Joy in the Garden was on the show and I got to have my picture taken with her before the show started. Sheri Dew was also a guest on the show and the whole audience got a copy
of her new book! It was a very good day to be there! After the show was over they let each of the groups come up and have a picture with the hosts. As we were leaving, Angel Shannon came out and we took more pictures with her. After the show we all went to lunch at the Gateway. It was a great day!

That sounds like a ton of fun! And the orange chiffon looks way delicious...I'm thinking the cake for easter is a GREAT idea!
