This year for Easter, I decided to do a Scavenger Hunt for my kids. Instead of just hiding eggs or putting stuff in their basket, I made a list of all of the things they were supposed to find and hid them around the house. Everything was color coded so that they both got the same amount of stuff. For instance Keegan's said find "7 green eggs" and Maddy's said find "7 purple eggs". They also found peeps and bunnies and a "carrot" (Reese's Pieces) and more. When they both found everything, they came back to the living room and I gave them a prize to share. It was Toy Story Mania for the Wii!
On Saturday afternoon, we went to Rick and Myrna's for dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt with the cousins. That night, we colored our Easter Eggs. On Sunday, we had brunch at Craig and Linda's (a conference weekend tradition) and then we had an Easter egg hunt with the Julien cousins. It was a lovely holiday weekend.
