It's Christmas Eve! Every year we spend Christmas Eve with the Bruce family. We have chicken cordon bleu for dinner and lots of other treats and goodies. Then we do our gift exchange between the cousins and grandparents. The kids always get PJ's from grandma. After the kids are changed into their pj's and busy playing with their new stuff, the adults get ready for the present game. We all bring a $25 gift and then we play a dice game and fight for what we want. It is always very fun! Another tradition that we have is orange sticks. We always get orange sticks for Christmas because that's what Bart's Grandma Smith did when she was alive and his mom has kept on the tradition. We all love them - if only we got one box per person instead of one per family!

I don't know why we started this, but for the last few years we have gone to the Olive Garden for lunch on Christmas Eve. This year my parents went with us. It was a nice time and the food was delicious as always! Thanks for coming mom and dad!
