My Choir Program

My choir performed in sacrament meeting yesterday. I'm both relieved and sad that it is over. I have been working on my program since August, so it was nice to finally see the result. I wrote the program, which I titled "Stories of Christmas." The narration included familiar Christmas stories such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Christmas Carol, The Gift of the Magi, and a few others. Then I related each of the stories to the real meaning of Christmas. We sang seven songs in between the narration. I also added a children's choir which met after school one day a week for the last two months. They sang two of the songs with the choir. They did a great job! I was happy that Maddy got to perform and be a part of my program. I want to thank Shannon and Jenny for reading through the program and helping with suggestions for the final draft. I actually made changes up until two days before! For the most part it was wonderful! A couple of my narrator's could have practiced their part a little more, but the songs and stories were great! I'm already thinking about next year!!!
