Here We Go A Caroling!

As you've read from my other post, I love Christmas and especially Christmas music! The other night I got to participate in an exciting caroling experience. On Sunday night, my parent's ward was having a caroling event outside in their cul-de-sac. They had a fire going and had hot chocolate and goodies to eat. They had a big flip chart on an easel that had a lot of songs on it, and we just kept flipping through the songs while Linda Hartley played her guitar. We also had bells to jingle during the fun songs. Keegan and I both had a chance to shake the bells. It was freezing outside, but my mom and sister Jenny both came out to sing for part of it. Maddy, Julien and Gabe all came out to drink hot chocolate and play in the snow. My favorite part was having Keegan stand there by me and sing the songs that he knew. He says he doesn't like to sing, but I think deep down he has that part of the Julien side in him. Although the ward has changed a lot since I left, I was able to see a few people that I knew. It was especially nice to see Colleen Hazen who was my mia-maid advisor and then moved up to be the young women's president when I was a laurel. It was a great night! By the time I came in, I was frozen, but it was worth it!
